Jacqueline has an interest in the life-worlds of local places and the ways in which people leave visual marks on urban space. With a focus on the urban enclaves of Sydney’s Inner West Jacqueline is interested in how urban fragments act as a visual marker of social history and migration. This interest is a personal one, a re-engagement with her own Greek heritage.

Through painting and printmaking, Jacqueline emphases the visual contrasts that exist between beauty and utility, where the human impulse towards decoration juts up against the banality of urban life.

Jacqueline holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) and completed a Master of Fine Arts at Sydney College of the Arts in 2022.  She was the winner of the 2022 Artereal Gallery Mentorship Award and has exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions in spaces including Verge gallery and AIRSpace Projects. Jacqueline has engaged in artist residencies in Berlin and Greece.
