Sam Holt and Louise Zhang recently donated artworks to the HOME: Bushfire Relief Art Auction Fundraiser held at the National Art School, in partnership with Sydney Contemporary.
Over 1,000 of the arts community including collectors, artists, students and the arts industry attended the auction, with a massive $220k raised from the HOME event. All money raised will be split three ways and donated to the following charities who are addressing Australia’s climate future: Climate Council, Firesticks Alliance Indigenous Corporation and WWF-Australia. Each of these charities were carefully selected for their current and future response to bushfires and Australia’s climate future.
Over 60 of Australia’s leading contemporary artists donated works to help raise significant funds for the people and animals that have been devastated in the bushfires, supporting organisations that work to rebuild, advocate and protect our beautiful home.
This event was made possible with Aon, National Art School and Sydney Contemporary.
