Congratulations Max Lawrence White on his residency with Studio Kura in Fukuoka, Japan.

Studio Kura‘s Artist in Residence Program is a chance for domestic and international artists to experience and draw inspiration from Japan’s rural environment, as well as for Studio Kura’s thriving local community to meet different artists and their works.

Max will have the opportunity to develop his art practice, meet other artists and participate in workshops for the Studio Kura community. Max will create a body of new work during his stay at Studio Kura, and will be in residence in Japan from August 2024.
