Kai Wasikowski, Owen Leong, and Yioryios are all currently exhibiting in a group show titled LIFEBLOOD, at the Grace Cossington-Smith Gallery, Wahroonga. LIFEBLOOD showcases works from members of the Square One Studio’s creative community located in Alexandria, Sydney.
In an artist’s life, a group studio becomes a support system— a network of likeminded people who feed each other and cross pollinate. This exhibition is a snapshot of a creative community that nurtures and sustains some of Sydney’s best known established and emerging artists, including sculptors, cartoonists, painters, installation artists, product designers, writers and ceramicists.
Artereal artists Yioryios, Owen Leong and Kai Wasikowski will display their work alongside Margaret Ackland, Elyte Blansjaar, Melissa Chalker, Lada Dedić, Amy Dynan, Merran Esson, Danica Firulovic, Ariella Friend, Angus Gardner, Rowena Grace, Shaun Hayes, Dominique Hindmarsh, Ingrid, Gareth Jenkins, Vicki Grima, Johnny Kovacevic, Charlotte La Brocque, Montessa Maack, Claire Nicholson, 不 NOT, Sophi Odling, Alison Peters, Natalie Rosin, and Marnie Ross.
LIFEBLOOD is opening at Grace Cossington Smith Gallery on Saturday October 6, from 2 – 4pm, and will be on display until October 27. Curated by Sean Morris from Square One Studios.
