Jess MacNeil
Finalist in The Fauvette Loureiro Memorial Scholarship

Congratulations to Jess MacNeil, who has been announced as a finalist in the 2022 The Fauvette Loureiro Memorial Scholarship in the mid-career/established category!

The Fauvette Loureiro Memorial Scholarship was established in 1997 through a gift from the estate of Renee Fauvette Erdos, an educator and founder of the History Teachers’ Association of NSW, celebrating the memory of her mother Fauvette Loureiro.

The purpose of the scholarship is to support graduates of the Sydney College of Arts to pursue a program of professional development through travel.

This incredible line-up of 10 finalists across two categories was selected by our esteemed judging panel including Dr. Andrew Lavery (Co-Chair/Co-Director, Sydney College of the Arts); Danie Mellor (Artist); and Megan Monte (Director, Ngununggula, Southern Highlands Regional Gallery).

The recipients will be announced at SCA Gallery on 28 September with the finalist exhibition open from 29 September – 29 October, 2022.
