Congratulations to Claudia Nicholson, whose video work All I have are dreams of you was recently acquired by Artbank for their collection.

The video work documents a performance / installation-based artwork recently commissioned by Carriageworks for the 2017 exhibition The National: New Australian Art. 

In her work All I have are dreams of you,  Colombian born, Australian raised Claudia Nicholson continues her expression of her Latin American roots, paying tribute to the late Tejano musician Selena Quintanilla through the creation of a large scale ‘alfombra de aserrín’ (traditional South American sawdust carpet), created painstakingly over several days using sawdust, glitter and pigment.
