Congratulations to Claude Jones who has been selected as a finalist for her work Hare-Brain in this years National Works on Paper Prize and Dirty Laundry in the 2016 Corangamarah Art Prize.
The National Works on Paper Prize is a prestigious and important biennial acquisitive art prize and exhibition. It is hosted by the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery in Victoria and its role is to support and promote contemporary Australian artists working on or with paper. This year there were nearly 1000 applicants and Claude Jones was one of 66 selected finalists.
The Corangamarah Art Prize is a $7,500 acquisitive art prize held annually at the Red Rock Regional Theatre and Art Gallery. The 2016 prize will be judged by Jason Smith, newly appointed Director at Geelong Gallery.
