is a Sydney based emerging artist whose practice is informed by an interest in the expanded field of photography and exploring its revolution from a chemical medium into one underpinned by digital technology. Emblematic of this shift from traditional to new media, Tracey’s work lends itself to the artistic avenues of the New Aesthetic and Generative Art to produce a series intended to act as a form of data visualisation.
Amelia Tracey graduated from Sydney College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours – Class I) in 2014. She was the 2014 recipient of the Artereal Gallery Mentorship Award, given to an outstanding graduating Honours student from SCA.
