Noula Diamantopoulos is currently exhibiting as part of So Far So Good, an exhibition held by Art Pharmacy Consulting at Vandal Gallery in Redfern. Curated by Amy Roser, the exhibition features text based works aiming to continue the dialogue about mental health, raise funds for charity and bring light to a topic that still lives in the dark. Art Pharmacy Consulting is hosting the exhibition to mark R U Okay? Day 2018, and raise funds for local charities batyr and One Wave, who actively encourage conversations about mental health.
Noula is a multidisciplinary artist working across a variety of mediums including neon, performance, sculpture, mosaics, printmaking, painting and encaustics. Much of Noula’s work explores new ways of making, seeing and understanding both art and the world. As an artist, practicing psychotherapist, and holistic coach, she constantly strives to create work that captures and expresses those universal feelings and emotions which cannot be named or described, but are an essential part of the human condition.
Noula’s neon work titled how are you, you?, is being displayed alongside local and international artists, including Anatol Knotek, George Raftopoulos, Tyrone Layne, Otis Carey, Offerings, The Blackhat, Claire Johnson, Tristan Kerr, Joi Murugavell, John Kaye, Astra Howard, Lucy Lucy and Will Coles.
The exhibition opening is on Thursday 13 September 2018 from 6pm -9pm, and will be on display at Vandal Gallery until 15 October 2018.
