Evan Pank has recently completed a one month residency at Megalo Print Studio’s in Canberra. Pank was the inaugural winner of the Megalo Print Studio Award Resideny which he was awarded late last year at the Sydney College of the Arts undergraduate show (at the same time as he was awarded the Artereal Gallery Mentorship Award).

Speaking at the time Pank commented: “I haven’t undertaken a residency before so I’m excited to have this opportunity and experience,” he said. “I’ve got more screen print and spray paintings that I would like to complete and the facilities at Megalo will help with my large-scale artworks.”

During his time in Canberra Evan was also invited to create a site-specific installation of pasteups titled Political Football on the exterior facade of ANCA in Canberra.
