Rebecca Beardmore
at Grunwald Gallery, Indiana University

Rebecca Beardmore has been invited to exhibit as part of Light/Matter: Art at the Intersection of Photography and Printmaking, 1954–2017.

In collaboration with a curatorial team comprising Tracy Templeton (USA), Walter Jule (Canada), and Ingrid Ledent (Belgium), the exhibition will be a major international exhibition of prints presented by the Grunwald Gallery at Indiana University. Scheduled to debut in August 2017, the exhibition will feature up to seventy works by forty- five artists spanning sixteen countries.

This will mark the first time a major museum exhibition has presented groundbreaking works by several generations of artists who have made significant contributions to the photo-print movement. Dating back to the mid-twentieth century, these artists have created a new graphic language through the fusion of photographic imagery and analog print techniques.

Rebecca Beardmore was invited to participate in this exhibition in recognition of her outstanding career and major influence in the field of contemporary printmedia.

The exhibition will run from 25 August – 4 October 2017.
