The Yarrabilba project is a Lendlease master-planned community situated approximately 40 kilometres south-east of Brisbane and approximately 30 kilometres north-west of Southport.
In 2015 Lendlease developed a comprehensive public art strategy for the new Lendlease community of Yarrabilba. The strategy proposes a sustainable public art program for Yarrabilba’s community, to be developed and delivered over a 30 year period.
The Display Village artwork will be developed during Daniel Wallwork’s time as Artist in Residence with the community. The artworks will result in play-based forms that reflect Yarrabilba’s layered history and community aspirations for the future.
